One of our favorite spots in the area, Matheson Beach is a location made unique by its man made atoll pool which is flushed naturally with the tidal action of nearby Biscayne Bay. Believe us when we say that this place is HUGE. It seems that the only thing you can’t do here is keep track of time. Kite boarding, biking, water skiing, paddle boarding, swimming, fishing, sun-bathing, dinner and some amazing sunsets over the accompanying wetlands make this quite possibly one of the coolest parks in south Florida.

The park is open daily sunrise to sunset and accessible via our complimentary shuttle.
